WOTBOX BETA END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT — 2026-09-beta

Read this agreement before installing or using this Wotbox distribution.
The licensor is the copyright holder of the Wotbox software in this
distribution. These are beta licence terms, not a statement that Wotbox
has been certified secure or suitable for every purpose.

1. Licence grant
Subject to these terms, the licensor grants you a nonexclusive, worldwide,
royalty-free licence to install and run this beta for personal or business
use on systems you control, make backup copies, and modify its appearance
and source for your own use. You may share view configurations and themes
that you have the rights to distribute. Redistribution of the Wotbox
software itself requires separate permission except where applicable law
or a third-party licence gives you that right. No ownership is transferred.

2. Third-party components
Third-party dependencies remain governed by their own licences. This
agreement does not limit rights granted under those licences. Package
metadata and installed dependency licence files identify those components.
No permission is granted to misrepresent affiliation or use another
party's trademarks beyond what applicable law permits.

3. Operation and authority
The software is self-hosted. You control your server, recovery access,
backups, public content and agent grants. You must have authority to use
the systems and data you connect. Follow the accompanying Terms and WB
Guidelines. An agent acts only within permissions you grant; review those
permissions and revoke them when no longer needed.

4. Beta limitations
Features, interfaces and data formats may change. There is no promise of
uninterrupted service, compatibility with every device, permanent hosting,
future features, support response times or a particular release date.
Future blockchain, Wibble cryptocurrency and paid likes are plans, not supplied features
or a promise of financial value. Maintain independent backups and recovery.

5. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided as is
and as available, without additional warranties, and the licensor excludes
liability for loss arising from its use. This exclusion does not apply to
liability or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, limited
or modified. Nothing in this agreement removes nonexcludable rights or
remedies, including those under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

6. Ending use
You may end this licence by stopping use and deleting software copies,
while retaining your own data. If you materially breach these terms, the
licensor may terminate the licence subject to any applicable legal rights.
Termination does not give the licensor remote access to your private node.

7. Changes and interpretation
The included version applies to this distribution. Revised terms are
presented for acceptance with a later installation or upgrade; they do not
silently replace this copy. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining
provisions continue to the extent lawful. No exclusive court or governing
law is chosen by this beta agreement; applicable law determines those matters.

8. Recovery notice
An owner password or passkey protects the dashboard. Last-resort recovery
requires authorised host access and the configured OS password recovery
route. Wotbox does not provide an external email recovery service. Losing
all sign-in, host recovery and backup access can prevent data recovery.
