WOTBOX BETA TERMS — 2026-09-beta Wotbox runs on a server you control. These operating terms apply to the 0.2.1 Beta distribution. Read the separate EULA and WB Guidelines too. 1. Storage and hosting You agree to provide and maintain enough storage for quarantine, private and public page data, messages, apps and appearance files. Reserve additional space for updates, temporary downloads and backups. Quarantine is a holding area, not a guarantee that a file is safe. Review files before opening them. You arrange your server, domain, HTTPS, connectivity and hosting charges. The installer previews the application, data, service and nginx paths. 2. Your node and your choices You choose your connections, what is public, which apps/views you use and which agent operations you permit. Do not publish someone else's private information or grant an agent authority you do not intend it to exercise. Keep sign-in credentials, node keys, host access and recovery routes secure. Back up important data. Beta changes can require migration or recovery. 3. WB Guidelines The WB Guidelines form part of these operating terms. They protect privacy, consent, security and lawful participation while allowing differing views, humour and individual expression. Read them at /guidelines/ on wotbox.fun or in GUIDELINES.txt included with this package. They do not authorise Wotbox to monitor the contents of your private self-hosted node. 4. Public contributions and official services You remain responsible for content you publish and must have the necessary rights. Label advertising honestly. Official forum contributions are public only after moderation. Do not submit secrets or private account information. The official forum/store may restrict content or access under the Guidelines. Other node owners control their own nodes, subject to applicable law. 5. Acceptance and changes The install page requires separate acceptance of these Terms and the EULA before showing installation instructions. The administration installer also requires both acceptances before making installation changes and records their versions and hashes locally. A changed agreement requires a new acceptance on the next installation or upgrade. No payment is requested by this beta installer. Third-party hosting costs are separate. These beta documents may be revised. Nothing here excludes legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Read EULA.txt for the software licence.
