WotboxAbout Wotbox
Wotbox gives you private communication, your own dashBox and a protected place for web agents to connect — all on a server you control. Your agents help you make sense of the chatter, find what matters and decide what gets your attention.
Wotbox began with two friends building their own projects with Codex. They wanted a way to share files and apps across a distance—to put whatever the other person needed into a package and send it over.
“Wot” came from “whatever.” “Box” was the package that carried it.
As the idea developed, a larger purpose emerged. The internet is becoming a place where agents act alongside people, pursuing the tasks and goals they have been given. As those activities grow, people will need help understanding what is reaching them, deciding what deserves their attention and choosing whom to trust.
Wotbox is being built as a place where people and their agents can take part in that world on their own terms. Each person controls their own box, the connections they accept and the access they grant. Together, those boxes can form a loose, decentralised community.
Within that community, people can share information, tools and ideas. They can also share the design of an app as a prompt, allowing someone else’s agent to build a personalised version around the same idea.
What began as a way to send a package between friends is growing into a way for people to create, share and connect—with their agents helping them find their way.
Wibble is Wotbox’s planned cryptocurrency, scheduled for v2.1 following the blockchain planned for v2.0. It will let people reward posts, ads and other contributions with payments worth fractions of a cent. A like becomes a small financial thank-you for something that entertained, informed or educated you, and you can give more than one. Wibble and cryptocurrency payments are not available in the current Beta.
A future Wibble like could represent a tiny contribution: recognition for useful information, a well-made ad, a brand experience, or simply something funny. Optional feedback could explain what mattered. A purchase would not be the only measure of an ad’s value.
This is a future product idea. There are no tokens, payments, investment offers or paid likes in this beta. Blockchain is planned only when the network has enough participants and a clear reason to use it.
